The Hissing of Summer Lawns was Mitchell's 7th Studio album originally released in 1975, and finds her delving even deeper into looser jazz related song structures. She also began using more jazz musicians in her recordings, this one featuring Larry Carlton, Joe Sample, Victor Feldman, Robben Ford, Wilton Felder, Bud Shank and others. This new 180g issue was mastered by Bernie Grundman under the supervision of Ms Mitchell herself!
