Sky Blue is a collection of unreleased songs by one of the most celebrated songwriters of the twentieth century, is a time capsule that Townes Van Zandt created forty-six years ago, and is only now just unearthing and opening it to find the treasures. Contains 11 unreleased recordings composed of two new songs, a re-worked "Blue Ridge Mnts", a venerable east Tennessee murder ballad, Richard Dobson and Tom Paxton covers and versions of five Van Zandt gems, all in solo, acoustic performances. Packaged in a thick gatefold jacket.
