Solange Borbes - Bom Dia Universo

Solange Borges, a female singer-songwriter born in 1954. Brothers such as 

Lo Borges, Marcio and Marriton, who are familiar with the masterpiece 

"Machikado Club", are all musicians. In 1980, they released an album under 

the name of Os Borges, and is known as the best musical family in Brazil. 

Solange naturally began to play the guitar and piano, and through the 

influence of her brothers, she also awakened to the world of lyric writing 

and grew as a musician. She built a career as a musician by participating in 

works such as the above-mentioned "Machikado Club" and her brother Law's 

masterpiece "A VIA LACTEA".

Solange's only work is this work "BOM DIA UNIVERSO". The music reflects the 

influence of Ellis Regina and the Beatles, whom she admired, and features 

her singing voice extensively. It was Milton Nascimento who advised her to 

"don't be afraid to sing with your voice". A folky sound where you can even 

hear the breathing of the family, a delicate melody typical of Minas, and a 

simple yet fairy voice. Its content is like a condensed version of the best 

of Minas music, but since it was released from an indie label in Minas, it 

has been largely unknown until now, and the original was traded for over 

USD300. 

FATIADO DISCOS, which is known for its careful production, seems to be well 

made with remasters for this reissue and unreleased photos.
