LP ON LP 02 continues with "Waves" from technical rehearsal the night before Summer Tour 2011 began at Bethel Woods. Despite its origin, Bethel Tech "Waves" was anything but practice - it was a profound improvisation experienced live by only the band and crew. Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro first premiered the Bethel Tech “Waves,” which includes elements of John Coltrane’s “A Love Supreme” theme, on an episode of From The Archives broadcast on Phish’s The Bunny radio station at their July 2011 Super Ball IX festival.LP ON LP 02 was recorded by Jon Altschiller and mixed from the multitrack masters by Elliot Scheiner.
