The first vinyl reissue of Jonathan Richman’s 1990 album, Jonathan Goes Country, on Rounder Records. Richman's 1990 country homage offers a mix of originals, reworkings and covers. It features all-analog mastering from the original tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio and is pressed on “Red Cowboy Boots” colored vinyl. In the band and production chairs are denizens of "The Studio", in Springfield MO, run by Lou Whitney, and assisted by members of his Skeletons band; Bobby Lloyd Hicks, D. Clinton Thompson, etc. This 1990 recording was never on vinyl until it's release for Record Store Day 2023.
