Originally released in 1970, the group of seasoned musicians and hit producer Roy Baker came up with Fire and Water, their 3rd album that proved to be their breakthrough. Paul Rodgers, Andy Fraser, Simon Kirke and Paul Kossoff rode high before breaking up in 1974. Rodgers & Kirke formed the even more successful Bad Company, while Fraser & Kossoff continued in a series of bands and worked as side-men on tours and did studio work with others. Kossoff is considered to be one of the greatest rock guitarists, appearing on many top lists.
