Dolly Parton - Better Day - on limited 180g colored vinyl

Dolly Parton's Better Day is the 2011 studio album she wrote as an answer to a rough year, a tsunami in Japan, unrest in the Middle East, a recession nobody could see the end of, choosing comfort over confession for her 43rd solo record and first all-original set since Hungry Again. Twelve songs run gospel at the edges and country at the core, carried by the singles "Together You and I" and "The Sacrifice," with Alison Krauss and Emmylou Harris sitting in on harmonies for track three; it went on to become her highest-charting studio album ever in the UK. This pressing is the Vinyl Me, Parton January 2024 selection, a single-LP edition (the 2011 original ran 2xLP) on 180g Light Blue Galaxy vinyl, lacquers cut by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound and pressed at GZ Media, arriving with a printed insert and the presentation VMP collectors expect.
