Ill Communication was the boys 4th album, originally released in 1994. It was self produced, and relied less on samples, and more on live instruments than their previous albums. It features guest appearances by Money Mark, Eric Bobo, QQ-Tip, Biz Markie. During the making of the album, they were deep into Miles Davis's jazz-rock albums like Agharta and On the Corner. The second disc comes with 12 tracks, one which is previously unreleased, 3 remixes and one live track.
