The Rest contains previously unreleased material licensed from Hat Hut Records. The music was originally recorded and left over from the CLINKERS album, recorded in Basel, Switzerland on June 9th, 1977. The concert was billed as two separate solo concerts; one by Lacy, and one by McPhee, but at the last minute, Lacy, who opened the show, invited McPhee to join him for his last number. The magic that was created on that stage is reproduced here for the first time.
