The Complete session in its original sequence!
Carl Perkins was completing a recording session at which Jerry Lee Lewis had been playing piano for him when Elvis Presley dropped by to visit his old friends at Sun, where he had made his first seminal recordings a couple of years earlier. The scene was set for an extraordinary, impromptu jam session which was fortunately recorded for posterity by Sam Phillips. Relaxed and informal, these recordings are an illuminating snapshot of a moment in rock & roll history. This is pure spontaneous fun with 4 of the most influential early rock icons; Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis & Carl Perkins.
Songs are;
Untitled Instrumental
Love Me Tender - Instrumental
Jingle Bells - Instumental
White Christmas - Instrumental
Reconsider Baby
Don't Be Cruel
Don't Be Cruel - Take 2
Paralyzed
Don't Be Cruel - Take 3
There's No Place Like Home
When The Saints Go Marching In
Softly and Tenderly
When God Dips His Love in My Heart
Just a Little Talk with Jesus
Jesus Walked That Lonesome Valley
I Shall Not Be Moved
(There'll Be) Peace in the Valley
Down By the Riverside
I'm in a Crowd But Oh, So Alone
Farther Along
Blessed Jesus, Hold My Hand
(As We Travel Along) On the Jericho Road
I Just Can't Make it By Myself
Little Cabin Home on the Hill
Summertime Has Passed and Gone
I Hear a Sweet Voice Calling
