Great lost soul! Little Charles and his firey Sidewinders group never made it to the top of the charts, but during the late 60s, they cut some great little singles with a very hard sound. Some of that material got issued on rare 45s -- now worth a pretty penny -- but there's also a lot of other great gems that never saw the light of day. This first-ever look at Charles' work, issued as part of Tuff City's great Soul-tay-shus series, finally collects his excellent recordings, including many unreleased tracks.
