This 50th Anniversary Edition of the soundtrack on vinyl includes, for the first time commercially, "The Harder They Come (Film Version)," liner notes from the 40th Anniversary edition, as well as new notes from Jimmy Cliff and reggae historian Dana Smart. 50th anniversary pressing includes 20-page booklet that features commentary from Jimmy Cliff, Perry Henzell (producer, director and co-writer of The Harder They Come movie), Chris Blackwell and Dana Smart (U.S. Reissue Supervisor of The Harder They Come 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition), Paul Simonon and David Katz as well as copies of the lyrics of all of the songs.
