The Voices of East Harlem were an ensemble of young vocalists who recorded under the direction of Leroy Hutson and Curtis Mayfield for Just Sunshine Records. Their 1973 self-titled album yielded several enduring favorites, including the northern soul and modern soul staple Cashing In, the U.S. hit Giving Love and the rare-groove classic Wanted Dead Or Alive. This reissue from Soul Brother returns the album to vinyl after two decades out of print.
