This session of organist Young, with lee Morgan, Herbert Morgan, & Eddie Gladden was recorded in February of 1969, but not issued until 1980 on the Blue Note Classic (Liberty) series as LP LT-1038. Young was hot after his Bitches Brew appearance, and just before co-forming the highly influential Tony Williams Lifetime with John McLaughlin. Though recorded in '69, it was not issued until 1980. AllMusic's Scott Yanow says "This highly original set does not deserve to be so obscure."
