At 75 years and counting, the venerable Highway QC's could be called a gospel institution. Members going through their ranks include Sam Cooke, Lou Rawls, and Johnny Taylor! This "modern" version of the group also features great vocalists and instrumentalists. It was released in 1987 and is in that vein of soul / gospel music of the day; think Whispers, Moments, etc, with all praises to God! (last track borrows liberally from Betcha By Golly Wow)
