After performing and recording as a sideman in Brother Jack McDuff's band for a few years, George Benson got to record his debut leader set for Prestige Records. Also accompanied by McDuff and his band of Red Holloway, Ronnie Boykins, and Montego Joe. It was originally released in 1964. Five of the Seven tracks are Benson originals. Does anyone know what happened to Benson after this? Seems to have disappeared...
