The Apple Pie Motherhood Band Self titled LP Atlantic SD 8189 - Stereo pressing original Blue / Green label Boston band's 1968 album. Run off grooves read; ST-A-681289-A on side 1 and ST-A-681290-A on side 2 and AT LW and W appearing on both sides The collector we got this collection from seems to have had a connection to Smash / Mercury / Polydor, as many of the rare psych albums included have punch holes in the jackets, which although they are not marked as such, we are reading as being promos, as the records themselves (most) appear to be unplayed. This on has a small notch cut out on the R (opening) side. We'll be listing the others as time allows. In the meantime, this one contains; Born Under a Bad Sign I'd Like to Know Ice Yesterday's New Song Barnaby's Madness The Ultimate Contact The Way it Feels Bread and Jam Apple Pie Variations of a Fingernail Sleeve is EX, no flaws to speak of - a bit of shelf wear visible on the back. notch cut into opening side - promo? as well as a bit of residue from what was probably a promo sticker on the upper R corner. Record is EX, Beautiful Shine, Clean! possibly unplayed. Comes with an original custom period Atlantic inner sleeve. |
