1966 Private Press Lp on Yellow Vinyl AR-1705. Record is EX, Sleeve is VG+. Duke Ellington performs Original Piano Compositions, The Blues is Waiting / Tingling is a Happiness / Dancers in . Special Introduction by Jack Benny. Recorded Live at McCormick Place in Chicago. One sided LP. FEEC is Field Enterprises Educational Corporation. The conference was its 50th anniversary, and the 18th Anniversary Achievement conference that took place in Chicago on Sept 6-8, 1966 at McCormick Place. Special guests Duke & Mr. Benny appear on this recording that was given as a souvenir at the conference. The Duke does shout-outs to sales people between his tracks, presumably those who sold lots of World Book encyclopedias in the prior year. The LP is unbanded. The Field in the corporation name was Marshall Field III, who started the company in 1941, and at one time owned and operated the Chicago Sun-Times, Simon & Schuster Publishing, Pocket Books, and the World Book Encyclopedia, who the Duke appears to be referring to in his shout out to sales-people. It's unknown how Duke got involved with this enterprise, but this sure is a unique item.
