Sonny stretches out giving us a full side of his composition Freedom Suite and a second side of standards. Amazing interplay with the trio. Classic 1958 album originally released on Riverside. The original sessions were held on Feb 27th and March 7th of 1958 with Oscar Pettiford and Max Roach. The bonus track was recorded on July 10th of that same year with Henry Grimes and Specs Wright.
