Walkin' is an LP compilation that includes 2 different Prestige recording sessions with 2 different groups. Side one features Miles, Lucky Thompson, & J.J. Johnson; Side two features relatively unknown altoist David Schildkraut, while the rhythm section of Horace Silver, Percy Heath & Kenny Clarke appear on all the tracks. Most of the material was issued on 10" before the LP. The LP was originally released in this form in 1957.
