This is the soundtrack to Herbert Danska's 1971 movie Right On!, an example of poetry in motion through the multiple verbal attacks by this ensemble of African American musicians/protesters. It is a combination of documentary, filmed live performance and music video for a collection of The Last Poet's classic tracks. This is the only recording by the original group, thus the word "original" was added to the title to avoid confusion with the later incarnation of the group.
