Spiritual Five with Wilsom Pickett (?) - Call Him Up/ Christ's Blood

There has been some controversy concerning the presence of Wilson Pickett on this track. We are going from the entry in the Pickett discography on the UKs Soulful Kinda Music, as well as a piece on the group from none other than gospel expert Opal Nations. (It's on his webpage). He states matter-of-factly that Pickett is indeed the lead on both sides. Further digging from the Duke/Peacock discography by Galen Gart has no mention of Picket, nor does Gospel Records 1943-1970, which is curious, because it is well known that Pickett recorded with the Violinaires. We've pulled in some heavy hitters to weigh in, and other than Nations, most are still not sure, or doubtful. 

We have provided a soundclip for you to give a listen and make your own judgement. We can't decide for sure, one way or the other, we're just going by what we see and have heard. Either way, there's no denying it's a GREAT record!
