Inner City 1020 re-issue of this 1978 album

Recorded and released for the Cobra Label in France in 1976, Cosmos was issued in the US on Inner City Records in 1978. The Allmusic review by Ron Wynn awarded the album 4 stars stating "Sun Ra provided some stunning moments on the Rocksichord, while leading The Arkestra through stomping full-band cuts of atmospheric or alternately hard bop compositions, peeling off various saxophonists for skittering, screaming, at times spacey dialogues" Band includes the usual suspects, John Gilmore, Marshall Allen, Danny Davis, Danny Thompson, as well as Elo Omo, Jac Jackson, Ahmed Abdullah, Vincent Chancey, Craig Harris, R. Anthony Bunn, & Larry Bright.
