Anita O'Day began her solo career, following her great success as the "girl singer" in the bands of Gene Krupa, and Stan Kenton. She recorded for a variety of small labels, including Bob Theile's Signature label. Both sides of this disc, Signature 15127 feature Alvie and his Little Band. Alvie was Alvy West and The Little Band was Larry Neal, tp; Alvy West, as, arr; Bob Caudana, accordion, p; Tony Rizzi, g; Artie Shapiro, b; Milt Holland, d.
Recorded in Los Angeles, Late February 1947. The B side was featured in the picture Hit The Deck.
